This Orange Tree Sponge in vibrant Orange color belongs to the group called as Porifera. The Orange Tree Sponge has tree like branches that grows up to 8 inches. The Orange Tree Sponge is not that common sponges and are found in the waters around the Caribbean in 80-540 foot deep water, usually near the tops of coral reefs along the ocean bottom ledges. It is very safe to keep in any home tank as it doesn't harm any corals unlike other sponges. Therefore the Orange Tree Sponge makes a great addition to any tank and perfect for seahorse hitching. The Orange Tree Sponge is non aggressive and peaceful, and get along with other tank mates in a quite healthy way. It can be kept in such a place where it can receive moderate to strong water flow with shaded light. The Orange Tree Sponge adds a dramatic splash of Orange color in to your aquarium. Out of many other inhabitants, the seahorse loves to wrap their tails around the branches of these sponges. The Orange Tree Sponge requires feedings of dissolved organic matter that includes marine snow and phytoplankton for a continued health.
