Water Hawth Bulb

Scientific Name:Aponogeton distachyos

‘Water hawthorne’ grows from a small bulb and produces floating, long, narrow leaves. It blooms abundantly, with small, white, vanilla scented flowers. The flowers are crisp white, accented by black stamens. It will bloom in the spring while the waters are still cold, and then again in the fall once the water temperatures have fallen. It grows in sun to part shade and will spread 24-30 inches.
